First, my thanks go to GOD for sending His Son to die for me!
Secondly, for JESUS paying the price, which He did not have to pay!!
Thirdly, to the HOLY SPIRIT for making it happen!!!
Fourthly, to the SPIRIT OF GOD for His conviction power on my soul for me to ask for forgiveness of GOD for my sins!!!!
I thank the HOLY SPIRIT for His guidance in directing me on this trip through the 3:16’s. All the praise and honour and glory I give to Him.
I thank GOD for sending my special wife He has given me for these 30 years plus! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL GIFT!
I thank GOD for sending two special ladies, Mrs. Jean Merritt and her mother Mrs. Grace Porter. GOD calls these two special ladies His own, CHRISTIANS! Man calls them Baptist! A very special thanks to you two. My love is always there for you. Your final touch in editing, correcting my spelling, punctuation and phrasing put the final touches on this journey. I LOVE YOU BOTH!!! THANKS.
CHRISTIANITY?
Through our trials and difficult times we are surprised to find out that we really come to the knowledge of this question. The answer is in my desire to dedicate this book to a Christian, living, past and future, in her Christianity!!!
My definition of a Christian, to which we owe our Christianity to, is found in Galatians 5:22-26. It states in God’s Holy Book, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us walk in the Spirit, let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."
Lindsay Williams
Lindsay Williams, died of the body, of which she died of the flesh long ago, on February 28, 1996, of brain cancer. Lindsay was 13 years old, a middle school student at Splendora Middle School, Splendora, Texas. Her earthly father, Ken Williams, is the High School’s principal, her earthly mother, Patti Williams, a teacher at New Caney High School, New Caney, Texas, and her earthly brother, Cy, is a student at Splendora Intermediate School.
I never personally met Miss
Lindsay, but I knew who she was by the life she lived. My spirit knew Lindsay’s
spirit and they agreed! I missed out knowing one of God’s little children, and
I’m sorry for this, but God never had our paths to
cross. It is no greater acknowledgment to oneself when their peers love and
respect them as they did Miss Lindsay.
With permission from one of Miss Lindsay’s peers, a friend, Miss Amber Thackeray, I wish to share what her peers thought of her through this poem she wrote about Miss Lindsay.

God sent down an angel,
someone so special and true,
He chose His angel wisely,
He had a job for her to do.
Her job was to take her
place on earth, to come down from above
And to show as many people
as possible the true meaning of love.
This angel’s
name was Lindsay, and it didn’t take her long
To find a place in our hearts, right where she belongs.
She showed us how to care so
much, she showed us the meaning of life
And she showed us true sweet
innocence, from her laugh to sparkling eyes.
She taught us more than she
realized, and now at the end of her quest
God has taken her home with
Him, and God only takes the best.
So, please
be happy for Lindsay, I know it’s hard, but try
For in her final lesson, she’s teaching us to say goodbye.
Lindsay’s funeral was held in a two thousand seat church I was told and there was standing room only. Our entire school’s enrollment does not exceed much more than this.
Her dad, Ken Williams, shared with me, just today, when I asked permission to dedicate this book to Miss Lindsay, that Lindsay’s favorite scripture was John 3:16. She had it plastered all over her room. I was not aware of this until today. How AWESOME God is that He would choose Lindsay, myself, and this book, to tell you as I do in one of my testimonies, that truly, really, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whomsoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.
This is the epitome of Christianity to me, a person that has the love of Jesus, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance and most of all, long-suffering which God has for us! Lindsay is now with her Father, God; adopted brother, Jesus; and with all her heavenly family!!! Lindsay showed us again, that it is "… not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts." Zechariah 4:6.
This is Christianity, the fruits of the Spirit of God, LOVE!
To Lindsay’s father, mother and brother, she is not saying good-bye, just, I’ll see you later!!!!

This is NOT a book to replace ‘THE BOOK’, the Holy Bible, the Holy Words of God, the Bible! This is just what I have been hearing from the Holy Spirit for almost now 3 years. This one verse, 3:16, in each of the books of the Bible, in the King James Version, which have a chapter 3 and a verse 16, has intrigued me and kindled my admiration for the Holy Spirit, for His putting God’s words, first, in the hearts and minds of the men and women who wrote down His words; and secondly, the arrangement of His words in chapter and verse, from way back in the 15th century.
When a scripture is read, just a single scripture, the truth of the scripture is not always evident. Some, as John 3:16, stand by themselves; but, as we look at ‘3:16 The Book’, follow with me, maybe two or three scriptures on either side of the 3:16, to seek out the truth. I, along with you, will be amazed at what we will find. I am writing this before this study begins, because I feel, sense and I am stirred, that what we will find will be, well, I don’t know yet! But I am moved to do this for no reason known to me. I JUST KNOW IT!
I have written, with the Holy Spirit holding my pen, many words of God, many scriptures and always, the verse 3:16 or it’s immediate next-of-kin, the scripture or two or three before or after, has jarred me, stirred my thoughts of 3:16.
I am looking forward to getting started on this project. This could be a short book or a long book. I, with you, am waiting to find out. I pray, and ask you to pray for me, for guidance and the ability to write what I’ve been given, and let’s take God’s words and put them closer and deeper in our hearts.
God bless you, and I pray that whatever becomes of this venture is a blessing to you and yours, and that you will meet a GOD you haven’t known before or haven’t been with for a while. I pray that you come to Him as He draws you nearer. GLORY TO GOD, what a blessing to start with!!!
IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH, this undertaking begins...
Of the sixty-six (66) books of God’s Bible to us, thirty-nine (39) in the Old Testament and twenty-seven (27) in the New Testament, there are FORTY-NINE (49) which have a 3:16, chapter and verse. In the Old Testament 28 of the 39 books do so and in the New Testament 21 of the 27 have this chapter and verse.
At this time I’m not being led to dwell in the books which do not have this scripture; but, to let you know their names I will list them for you now, and as of now, this will be the only reference to these books mentioned. They are, in the Old Testament: EZRA, ESTER, PSALMS, SONG OF SOLOMON, HOSEA, AMOS, OBADIAH, JONAH, MICAH, HAGGAI and ZECHARIAH.
In the New Testament they are: 1 THESSOLONIANS, TITUS, PHILEMON, 2 JOHN, 3 JOHN and JUDE.
These books, just because I have not been led at this time to say any more about them, DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE OF LESSER QUALITY AND HAVE LESS MEANING OR THEY ARE NOT AS TRUE!!!! THEY TOO, ARE GOD’S WORDS!!!
These words, of this witness, I pray, changes your ways or reinforces what God has set in motion already. I am not a Doctor of Theology, I have not gone to Bible School, I have not been raised in a church or in any church until Easter Sunday, in the year of 1991. What you are reading is from God’s words and by the gift of the Holy Spirit.
In the spring of 1993, God, through the Holy Spirit, started filling my head and putting a tug on my heart, words of scripture, and started using me to write these down. Mostly as a personal witness, as stated in Acts of the Apostles 5:23, "And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him."
Also, by now, you have realized that I have never taken any writing classes either. So I started writing what I was led to write. These letters have covered a wide range of topics and scriptures. This is when the verse 3:16 started really standing out in my mind and I started wondering about the 3:16’s throughout the entire Bible.
As I read and study scripture, I sometimes can’t read past one scripture before a pen is in hand and I am writing as fast as I can to keep up with the Holy Spirit’s words, LIKE NOW!!! On a January 1st, I don’t remember the year, I can remember having three letters (this is what they are called) on my desk, side by side, writing on one, then the other, on totally three different topics. They were all three finished about the same time, that day! There is, in my mind, no other words to say or explain this; except, AWESOME!!!! Awesome GOD.
This witness has finally come to realize that there is nothing which God cannot do; except three things, 1) Look upon a sinner, 2) Remember mine or your past forgiven sins, and 3) Forgive the unpardonable sin. To me, this is power, not a lack of remembering!!!! THIS IS LOVE! THIS IS JUSTICE! THIS IS GOD!!!! GLORY HALLELUJAH, THANK YOU LORD JESUS for saving my soul!
So relax, kick off your shoes, prop your feet up and bask in God’s unchangeable words, because SOONER or LATER, you will bow down to Him and confess Him as Lord!!!!
This is God’s first attempt at writing a book, using this witness, I am full of joy and humbleness. Please pray for this willing servant, that God gets exactly what He is after by using this servant, in this means. I seek your prayers and I need your prayers, always,
